Our Radiant City introduces new guests to Nashville and welcome residents home amidst the icons and activities that enliven our culture. The circular node stretches 96’ in diameter.
The artist collaborated with an all-inclusive team to vision this central artwork. Stakeholders ranged from terrazzo contractors and the BNA project manager, to architects, builders, and more.
The circular node stretches 96’ in diameter around a 56’ concessionaire. The 4778 square foot design incorporates 10 colors, some of which were custom mixed just for this project.
The artist team put meticulous care into small details: the sun sets in the western quadrant, echoing real life.
