New officers were elected at the December 2010 regular meeting of the Cumberland Valley chapter of the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists (CV-TACA). New co-presidents are woodturner Brenda Stein and glass artist Scott Hodes. Clay artist Donna Rizzo was elected Vice President.

TACA’s mission is to encourage, develop and promote craft and craftspeople of Tennessee. This chapter, which serves the largest number of members, includes the counties of Stewart, Montgomery, Robertson, Sumner, Trousdale, Houston, Cheatham, Humphreys, Dickson, Davidson, Wilson, Williamson and Rutherford. The new leaders are excited about hosting gatherings in areas outside of Nashville in order to get to know more of the members and their needs.

TACA is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of its Spring Fair held in Nashville’s Centennial Park this May 6, 7, and 8. For the first time in the show’s history, the TACA Tennessee Craft Fair will welcome applications working in both painting and drawing to apply to this annual event. Please note: this event is open to Tennessee residents only.
